Skye's Puppy (2nd Litter)ZITO.JPG

Transportation

Puppies may be shipped, upon request. I will allow a puppy to travel within Canada in cargo if it is a short, and direct flight. I make sure your puppy has a bed, cozy blanket, a toy, and a water bottle during travel.

Another fantastic option is a pet nanny that brings the puppy directly to you.

What your Puppy needs

Your puppy needs many things other than love!

  • Water: please make sure your puppy has access to fresh water all day

  • Food:  Please feed your dog high quality dog food, this should be chicken and grain free.  Frenchies are known for food allergies so it is best to feed accordingly.  Make sure you give your dog the proper quantity of food daily, feeding 3 times while they are growing and then moving to 2 times a day around 7 months.  Your local pet store will also help give you information about how to feed you dog.

  • Leash and Harness:  It is recommended for French Bulldogs to be walked on a harness, tugging at their necks is not good for their spines and also having breathing issues you don't want to restrict airway.  Make sure your dog wears a collar with a name tag, rabies tag and phone number.  Get a leash that is the appropriate length for your location.

  • Pee Pads: if you are potty training indoors, this is your best solution

  • Safe Toys:  Your puppy needs toys that are fun and safe for their size.  ask the experts at the pet store for recommendations on toys

  • Grooming supplies:  Your fur baby will need their face folds cleaned and dried daily.

  • Frenchies nails grow quite quickly and if you are not confident have your local groomer or vet tech trim them.   It is worth the cost.

  • Bath your French bulldog only when needed.  Their skin is delicate and over washing can lead to dry skin.  Pick a shampoo that is gentle and scent free.

  • Brush your puppy to stimulate good skin and get any loose hair off.  They also love the attention.

  • Treats:  Get some quality training treats.  They have many grain and chicken free options.  Wellness Soft Bites are excellent for getting your dogs attention when training!

  • Life Jacket: If you are planning on spending time near the water we recommend getting your fur baby a life jacket.  Its better to be safe around the water. These guys are top heavy and not good swimmers.
